In Vitro and in Vivo Comparative Study of Oral Nanoparticles and Gut Iontophoresis as Oral Delivery Systems for Insulin

نویسندگان

چکیده

Multiple daily injections of insulin for diabetes cause many hazards diabetic patients. Oral noninvasive delivery could be more convenient and less painful than parenteral route. In past decades transdermal iontophoresis had been studied across the skin with or without chemical permeation enhancers. However, results these studies were not efficacious serum levels therapeutically effective. present study an advanced technology “gut iontophoresis” gut wall was compared traditional oral in form nanoparticles. vitro application electric current to intestinal membrane enhance flux nanoparticles (3.4 fold enhancement transport) from donor receptor compartment Franz cell. vivo through would produce intense hypoglycemia (57% glycemia drop 3 h) damage tissues. Cell viability assay indicated that 50–500 µg/mL no toxic effect on Caco-2 cells. Nanoparticles a promising non-invasive technique delivery.

Exemestane loaded polymeric nanoparticles for oral delivery

The aim of the present study was to develop Exemestane loaded polymeric nanoparticles for improved oral bioavailability of Exemestane. Exemestane loaded nanoparticles were prepared by solvent displacement method with Eudragit RL 100 and Eudragit L 100 as polymers and Pluronic® F-68 as surfactant. The influence of various formulation factors (drug: polymer ratio and concentration of surfactant) ...
